Article 1 · Purpose

These terms of sale (the "Terms") govern the sale of digital content and subscriptions in the shop of the online game Medieval Industry (the "Game"), between the seller named in article 2 and any natural person buying for personal purposes (the "Player").

The Player accepts the Terms by ticking the box provided before each payment. The applicable Terms are those in force on the day of the order. They can be consulted at any time on this page, which can be saved or printed.

Article 2 · Seller

Article 3 · Player account

Buying requires a player account. The account is opened with a confirmed e-mail address, or with a Google or Facebook account. The Player is responsible for keeping their password (or their Google or Facebook account) confidential and for every purchase made from their account. Purchases are tied to the account and cannot be assigned, resold or transferred to another account.

A minor may only buy with the consent of their parents or legal representative.

Article 4 · Content offered

None of this content changes production, power, combat or the rules of the Game. The characteristics of each item are shown in the shop before purchase.

Article 5 · Prices

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, in the shop and on the payment page before validation. The price of each item is displayed on its page in the shop. For information, on the date of these Terms: a subscription costs €1.99, €4.99 or €9.99 per 4-week period.

The seller may change its prices at any time. The price charged is the one displayed at the time of the order. For a subscription, a price change only applies from the next renewal, after the Player has been informed and can cancel.

Subscriber discounts only apply to precious gold prices; euro prices are never reduced by a subscription. Promo code discounts are applied to the displayed price before payment. A promo code can be used once per account, under the conditions stated with it. It has no monetary value.

Article 6 · Order and payment

The Player chooses an item in the shop, reads the summary (item, price), ticks the acceptance of the Terms and the request for immediate supply (article 7), then pays on the secure page of our payment provider, Stripe. Payment is made by bank card or by the other means offered on that page. The seller never has access to card data.

The order is final once payment is confirmed. A confirmation, with the order summary and a reminder of the waiver of the right of withdrawal, is sent by e-mail to the address given at payment. The seller keeps a record of each order and of the consent given.

Article 7 · Right of withdrawal

7.1 Skins, decorations and packs

7.2 Subscriptions

The Player has 14 days from taking out their first subscription to withdraw, without giving a reason (article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code). By subscribing, they expressly request that the subscription begin immediately. If they withdraw within this period, they are refunded the price paid, less the amount corresponding to the period already supplied up to their request (article L221-25). Later renewals do not open a new period.

To withdraw, the Player sends a clear statement to support@medieval-industry.online, for example using the form in the annex, before the end of the period. The refund is made within 14 days of receiving the request, by the means of payment used, free of charge.

Article 8 · Subscriptions

Article 9 · Supply and conformity

Content is added to the Player's account as soon as payment is confirmed, generally within a few seconds. If an item has not appeared after one hour, the Player contacts customer service (article 14).

The seller is liable for lack of conformity of digital content under the conditions of articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (legal guarantee of conformity of digital content and services). In the event of a defect, the Player can have the content brought into conformity or, failing that, obtain a price reduction or the cancellation of the sale with a refund.

The Game evolves: the exact appearance of an item may be retouched (drawing, colours) without changing its nature.

Article 10 · Precious gold and recreating the game

Precious gold is a Game resource, earned by playing. It cannot be bought with money, cannot be exchanged between players, has no monetary value and cannot be converted or refunded. It can be used to obtain content from the shop; these acquisitions are not sales within the meaning of these Terms.

The Game's world may be recreated (new game). In that case, the villages, armies, resources and precious gold of the game are reset for all players. Content bought or obtained in the shop and current subscriptions are kept.

Article 11 · Account suspension

In the event of a serious breach of the rules of the Game (cheating, exploiting flaws, hate speech, harassment, payment fraud), the seller may restrict access to the chat or suspend the account, after informing the Player except in an emergency. The Player can contest the measure with customer service. A suspension for payment fraud gives no right to a refund; in other cases, the current subscription of a permanently suspended account is refunded pro rata for the remaining period.

Article 12 · End of the service

If the Game were to close, players would be informed at least 30 days in advance. Subscription renewals would be stopped and the unused part of the current period refunded. Purchased content remains usable until closure.

Article 13 · Personal data

The seller processes account data (username, e-mail address, game data) and order data (items purchased, amounts, dates, consents) to provide the Game, manage purchases and subscriptions and comply with its accounting obligations. Payment is processed by Stripe, which acts as a provider and does not pass card data to the seller. Order data is kept for the period required by law (10 years for accounting documents). Details are given in the privacy policy.

The Player has a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, which they exercise with support@medieval-industry.online. They can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

Article 14 · Customer service

For any question or complaint: support@medieval-industry.online. The seller endeavours to reply within 7 days.

Article 15 · Complaints

Any complaint is sent in writing to customer service (support@medieval-industry.online), which replies within 30 days.

Article 16 · Applicable law

These Terms are governed by French law. They do not deprive a Player residing in another country of the European Union of the protections granted by the law of their country. Failing an amicable agreement, the dispute is brought before the competent court according to the legal rules.
